Role with the team:
Good offensive center who the Wild would like to pair up with Gaborik once both are developed.

Strengths:
Good puckhandler, natural talent to be offensive, smooth skater.

Weaknesses:
Lacks size.

Potential:
Pierre Marc Bouchard could be one of the Wild's best offensive centers if he had the size of an NHLer. At 162 lbs, he has bulked up from his previous weight of 155 lbs in the 2002-03 season. The Wild management hoped at the time of his drafting that he would become a one-two punch with the Wild's first Entry Draft selection, Marian Gaborik.
