Role with the team:
Marc is the Wild's big centerman who is capable of matching other team's more sizeable players. He is also good on the draw.

Strengths:
Good on the draw, good size, plays position smart.

Weaknesses:
Not the most graceful skater, work ethic is in question.

Potential:
Chouinard was traded to Anaheim for Teemu Selanne in 1996 so that should say something but after many years in the AHL, he finally was brought up to Anaheim. Even though Marc did get his chance at the NHL level, Anaheim let him go because of his lack of trying in his call ups. Luckily, the Wild, the NHL's reclaimation team, brought him in hoping that he will become a good checking line center and possibly a defensive specialist.
