Role with the team:
Fernandez is one half of the Wild's dynamic duo pair in net.

Strengths:
Flexible, sees the ice well, good glove hand, has ability to do a post to post split save in the blink of an eye, and can be a workhorse.

Weaknesses:
Has a problem with his ego, a bad goal can shake him up.

Potential:
Fernandez does have the potential to be a number one goalie but in the Wild's system, only a team effort wins and that is why he splits time with Roloson. While he could be possible trade bait to a team that needs a number one goalie, right now Manny is the most flexible and stunning goalie the Wild have.
