Role with the team: Burns is a big young winger that is very skilled defensively. In 2003-04, he was put on the blueline and did well.   Strengths: Strong kid, good skating. Responsible defensive player, has the ability to switch to defense, good backchecker, has a good work ethic...   Weaknesses: Not consistent on offense, not a physical winger with his size.   Potential: The Wild have hopes of him developing into a more solid two way winger who could add to the 2nd line in the future.
