Role with the team: Is restructuring his career with Minnesota after a few bust years; led the team in goals with 20 in 2003-04. Shows good offensive skills on the wing.   Strengths: Good offensive skills, great speed and footwork on skates,   Weaknesses: Is nagged with the NHL's tag of one of the worst number one picks in NHL Entry Draft history.   Potential: Has bounced around from team to team and not produced. Has had a great year in Minnesota and his play under coach Jacques Lemaire has ignited what may have been his offensive NHL talent. Only time will tell what Alexander Daigle could do but as for now, he is content with providing the Wild with a decent right winger.
